Abandoned vehicle auctions are held every third Wednesday of the month at 11:00 a.m. at Weil Wrecker Service (3400 Second Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35222).  These auctions are open to the public, and there is no buyer's fee or entrance fee.  All vehicles should be paid for immediately following the auction unless other arrangements are made prior to the sale.  Lists of vehicles currently being sold in the next two auctions are posted below in Excel spreadsheet format.  You may also view our print ads in the Alabama Messenger.  The ads for Weil Wrecker Service, Professional Towing Service, and James Morris Wrecker Service are usually printed on two consecutive Saturdays about a month before the sale date.

We also auction vehicles for the U.S. Marshals Service.  When vehicles are approved and scheduled for sale, a photo and vehicle description will be posted here along with the sale date; U.S. Marshal vehicles will be sold at the beginning of our regularly scheduled abandoned vehicle sale.  If you wish to bid on one of these vehicles, you must submit a $500 bid deposit for each vehicle you bid on.  If you are the high bidder, the deposit will be applied to the purchase price, and you will have 48 hours to complete the transaction with certified funds.  If you are not the high bidder, your deposit will be returned to you immediately following the sale.  If you would like to arrange a phone bid, please call us at 205-251-4060.  All final bids must be approved by the U.S. Marshals Service.
